Pianist Aldo Ragone was born in Bari and graduated from the Conservatory S. Cecilia in Rome under the guidance of Giuseppe Scotese. From 1991 to 1996 he studied in Rome and Paris with Aldo Ciccolini and from 1998 to 2001 with Eugenio Bagnoli at the Cini Foundation in Venice. In 2000 he earned with the unanimous accolades of the jury the Performance Diploma at the prestigious Ecole Normale de Musique Alfred Cortot in Paris.

He has performed in many European cities and in the United States. He also performed to critical acclaim to theKennedy Center in Washington, D.C. and with the Denver Philharmonic Orchestra.

Aldo Ragone is the winner of over thirty prizes in national and international competitions, important awards and scholarships. In 2007 he earned the Doctorate in Musical Arts at the University of Maryland with a thesis on the 10 Piano Sonatas and 24 Preludes opus 11 by Alexander Scriabin. Furthermore, in 2008 he earned the Artist Diploma in Piano Performance at the University of Denver.

Recently, he completed a tour in the U.S.A. with recitals, masterclasses, and the performance of Rachmaninov Second Piano Concert with the Denver Philharmonic Orchestra. Next events include concerts in Italy, Turkey and the U.S.

From 2007 to 2009 he taught piano at Regis University in Denver.
